History:
The origin of the website derived from a simple assignment given to me in
my senior year of high school as a project in technology class. The assignment
was to create a product to be sold to the masses and make up a company name and
logo. The logo of "DARK DVNT INC." was created in it original form which later
gave the inspiration to expand the idea into an association with projects of my
own I made; which included digital art, music and any other art forms. The name
"DARK DVNT" began to become my personal alias for online gaming and social
mediums (example: IM's, Chat Rooms, etc.) which became attached to me as a
personal manifestation of creativity and a boundless expression of my talents. I
joined it with along side my other aliases that I found deep personal meaning
to. In my first year of college, it was decided that I would expand it into a
medium that I have others view and acknowledge and nothing is better than the
internet. I created a free website on 50megs.com and made a simple page
describing of what I wanted to do. The alias morphed into "<
DARK DVNT >™ "
and the website became know as http://darkdvnt.50megs.com. With space
being limited on a free website and the annoyance of ads I decided on January 1,
2006 to pay for space and thus gave birth to the living experiment. I got a free
domain at www.dot.tk which made the site easier to remember and to give out the
url as www.darkdvntinc.tk. The experiment expanded and soon came the date when
my contract for the web space to end and on July 1, 2006, the doors of
< DARK DVNT INC.
>™ closed and the hope for continuing the site
hung at a balance. The site had become such a part of myself that I felt that it
was imperative that continue with what I started. I decided that I should start
with a more creative name instead of "INC." as an suffix. The reason for change
was that there was a lot of confusion and misunderstanding of the use of "INC."
and many interpreted it wrong. I then choose to place a word that has more of a
meaning of "self manifestation of creative extension", as sort of "self network
within < DARK DVNT >"
and thus I decided on "intra". The name was to be finalized as"<
DARK DVNT

[IntrA.net]™";
it included my alias as an identifier and the other as a identifier for the site
itself. "Intranet" meaning a network within <
DARK DVNT >™
; a bit of play on words since the site is on the internet. The name had
everything I wanted; it was straight foreword with what I want people to know
about the site as it is told and still have a bit of cleverness to it so that it
is worth remembering. The site was reestablished on July 1, 2006 with its new
name but as hopes rose for the release of the site there where problems with the
host I had intended to launch with. I found myself with a months worth of hassle
trying to get it up and running on the July 1, 2006. At that time the hosting
web service was neglectful to my claims for customer support and with the urge to
get the site online I made measures to find a new host. I returned to the
initial hosting service that host "INC." but did not come to this decision after
many hours of research on new hosts and my final discussion was based on price
and the necessary features that were basic in just getting the site online. On
Aug 11, 2006, <

was online and ready for viewing and interaction. Since that date the site has
evolved to become what you see new and still is growing as a creative mind
should and this website is my mind translated for your viewing pleasure. <
